Marketing, Messaging, Video: Sandpaper Medical

This summer, our friend Aadil Ginwala hired us to help his company, Sandpaper Medical. Sandpaper Medical saves medical practices a lot of time by cleaning up redundant data entry and including remote staff support for “electronic prior authorizations” - upfront paperwork that insurance companies require for certain treatments.

Aadil hired KRNLS because Sandpaper has done well with beta users, and is now moving into a new phase of their business, which opens the product up to a wider audience. This is a big step for any business, and Aadil found himself spread kind of thin on tasks that were all supposed to happen at the same time.

He let us take some of the messaging and presentation work off his plate. Sandpaper has a lot of value to communicate, but as we all know, marketing and sales messages only get a few seconds to make an initial impression. Adding to the complexity, we found that doctors and medical office staff are getting absolutely bombarded with these kinds of messages. Sandpaper’s service is unique, but if you’re not quick to explain that, you’ll be dismissed.

Check out the Sandpaper explainer video above, and see how you think we did.

A doctor’s office spends 16 hours each week on infusions, and just one denied buy-and-bill claim costs enough to undo the income they get from 20 other patients.
