Magic Valley Food Innovation Center and Business Incubator Feasibility Study
In response to an PRF issued by Region IV Development, a study is under way for a Food Innovation Center and Business incubator that would support the counties of Blaine, Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, and Twin Falls. This study is lead by KRNLS and supported by Plaka + Associates.
Lewiston Innovation Hub Feasibility Study
In a post-pandemic community, we are faced with the struggle of closed or hurting
businesses with not a lot of capital to move forward. As the world recovers from a COVID
induced economic downturn, many communities, including Lewiston, ID, are looking for ways to help spur and
diversify local industry by helping small businesses, the backbone and foundation of our economy.
By providing a place of education, entrepreneurship, resources, mentorship, makership, and comradery, an open-access space could
potentially will start to make a shift in the existing dynamics and identifications all while greatly benefiting the surrounding quad-city region. Imagine new business occupying empty storefronts, restaurants filled to capacity with new visitors, bustling sidewalks, and a younger and more diverse population
making plans to relocate.
Currently, This vision starts with a single solution; an Innovation Hub located in Lewiston, Idaho (i.e. the LIH). This could turn into will be a place where tech and craft entrepreneurs can learn, grow, and reinvest their knowledge and success back into a thriving community.
Great Lakes Hyperloop Feasibility Study
On February 26, 2018, the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HyperloopTT) entered into a public private partnership to complete a feasibility study for the technical analysis and evaluation of a Cleveland, Ohio to Chicago, Illinois corridor; known as the Great Lakes Hyperloop Feasibility Study
SWITCH Feasibility Study
This study’s approach was guided by careful consideration and respect for the local and regional leadership, businesses, and residents. If the 11-county Southwest Indiana region is to grow into a highly competitive economic and entrepreneurial environment, organizations, counties, cities, and towns must act as one to realize the region’s full economic development potential. Every community within the region has a role to play in spurring entrepreneurship and innovation, and every community has the opportunity to benefit in different, but important, ways. This study describes those opportunities and potentials while addressing one main query: What is the feasibility of a regional network or hub facilitating entrepreneurship and innovation?
